This project draws its primary inspiration from Mercedes Benz’s forward-looking vision for their Avatar car.
Defined by its dynamic and undulating features, it conveys the concept of a car as a vibrant, pulsating entity.
The volume takes charge, dictating a fluid space that interconnects seamlessly, symbolizing the uninterrupted flow of car movement.
It mirrors the future through layers of responsive skins, creating a breathing, sentient structure that not only senses but actively interacts with its environment.
Structure & Skin
In addition to its visionary aesthetics, this project places a significant emphasis on the structural aspects of the building.
An examination led us to select and implement an optimal structural design, ensuring a seamless integration of form and function.
The skin of the structure takes on a unique triangular shape-shifting mechanism. This innovative approach allows the panels to dynamically respond to the building’s heat and airflow.
As a result, the openings undergo fluid transformations, imbuing the building with a living and breathing form.
This dual focus on aesthetics and structural ingenuity contributes to the creation of a building that not only captivates with its visual allure but also operates as a responsive, adaptive entity within its environment.
